The Farm comprises some 160 acres mainly old pasture set in the beautiful M eon Valley between the B3035 and the A32, over looking the village of Meonstoke. Much of the land is chalk down land with extensive views to Old Winchester and Beacon Hills. There is some ancient and unimproved woodland, part of which was coppiced in the past. It is hoped to restore this feature. Of historical interest is the old Ice House, which was built along with Corhampton House several centuries ago. It is one of the few ice houses still in existence in Hampshire. Across the A32 lie the water meadows alongside the Meon river. These fields still have the ridge shape indicative of the old flood systems used to provide an early growth flush for sheep and cattle. The old brick sluice gates have been partially restored and a project is under way to complete the work.

Besides the ponies we run a beef suckler herd comprising some 35 cows and followers. Originally the cows were a mix of Hereford, Angus and Simmental. For the past few years these have been run with a pedigree Angus bull and heifers retained for replacements, so in the future the herd will become principally Angus.
